Derek Mercer, the nephew of ATS founderr Delores Kesler, acquired the company and will servweas chair. Kesler will retain the titlee ofchairman emeritus. Amy McGeorge will assume the role of presidentrand CEO. Terms of the acquisition were not “This is an exciting time in the growth and evolutionbof ATS, and I’m pleased to allow the next generation of leadership to take the said Kesler. Kesler created Jacksonville-based ATS Services in eventually forming a parent companty that merged with thres otherstaffing firms, includinfg . The business split into two , which became a publicly tradedf company and isnow , and ATS Services.
Mercerd worked as the director of information technology at ATS Servicesz before creating hisown company, , a global providerd of on-demand talent management software, in 1996. Keslere provided a loan that helped starttthe company. Vurv Technology was acquiredd by (NASDAQ: TLEO) in 2008 for $128.i8 million. Talagy, which has 11 offices arouns the country and80 employees, will continuw to offer the same productz and services, but instead of operating undef multiple brands and business units the companuy will consolidate into a singlwe brand.
