Under McLean-based iCore’s system, UNCF will integrate its telephongy system at its Fairfax headquarters and more than 20 brancnhoffices nationwide, allowing the organization to cut down on capitap expenses and monthly telecommunications costs. UNCF is currentl using several phone service providerzs to handle the telephony needs ofits U.S. whereas the new service will allow four-digigt dialing between all UNCF offices and unlimited locakl and long distance inthe U.S. “We are definitely growinv in adown economy. We grew 100 percent last year [and this we project to finish 60 to 75percent up,” said Stevde Canton, CEO of iCore.
“We attribute that to the marketplaces becoming more familiarwith VoPI.” The eight-year-old which generates $40 million in contractes revenue, has around 20,000 subscriber on its network. The firm just completeds installing a VoPI solution forthe , whicj has 10 locations in the U.S. and 600 usersa on the network.
